“Ordre Souverain et Militaire du Temple de Jérusalem” – “Ordo Supremus Militaris Templi Hierosolymitani – Strictae Observantiae”, consists of a community of Brothers and Sisters and of a Knights Order which, following their predecessors ‘example, the “Knight Templars”, move towards the improvement of the humanity in general, and of our Brothers and Sisters in particular, applying an ideal of Love, Generosity, Humility and Brotherhood following the ancestral tradition and taking into account the trends and the development of the present society.

In order to realize and reach our objectives of generosity, love of our neighbour and brotherhood, we consider as an essential and indispensable condition every study work of historical, societal and cultural kind in general, and especially every study of intellectual, religious, spiritual, esoteric, social, cultural, sociological, political, philosophical, historical, geographical, archaeological, anthropological, criminological, juridical, medical, sanitary, artistic, economical kind as well as military and security sciences, on a theoretical as well as practical level. In this framework, we base our work on the acquired and the innovative oeuvre of our predecessors in the economic, spiritual and organizational fields as source of inspiration for the contemporary norms and values which we want to concretize. In this scope, we include also (without any will to restrict) in our sphere of interest, between others : Art , Art Science, Art History, Music, Biking, Bicycling, Horse Riding, Travelling, Adventure, Survival, Diving, Skiing, Photography, Practical Shooting, Clay-Pigeon Shooting, Fencing, Yoga, Self-Defence sports like Budo, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, Aikido, Boxing,… , Mystic, Mysteriology, Aviation, Yachting, Meteorology, Astronomy, Astrology, Geology, Antiques, Brocante and flea market, etc…

Within these activities, we respect the traditional historical rules and dignify the transmitted uses, the habits and customs and the rituals.

As an Order, we are representative of society and oppose explicitly to any elitism. We are formed from all layers of the population, whatever race, sex, age, ideology and study level. As “group”, we want to be a reflection of the society we live in and want to imagine solutions towards a more prosperous world thanks to a steady study, reflexion work and a good communication.

With the help of our Knowledge and Science, we will commit ourselves to the protection of the neighbour, of the poor of the society in general, and the well-being of animals and nature, and of the environment in particular.

We consider as our special task and our duty: the help of the neighbour, of the disadvantaged and the needy, and the realization of charity actions. We embody our generosity duty by witnessing the love of the neighbour and the fraternity by:

- Creative actions by which we are able to contribute, albeit modestly, to the solution of societal problems,
- An effective commitment towards the neighbour, paying especially attention to individual need cases,
- An active collaboration to humanitarian actions.

We want to improve ourselves individually by continuous and permanent study and thorough training on the psychic, intellectual and physical level. A healthy mind in a healthy body, that’s our final goal.

We believe in the existence of a GOD, utmost Being, Architect of the Universe. We don’t give any definition of the Utmost Being, leaving to everybody the absolute choice to form oneself a personal opinion of it. We are totally “open” for every religion. We reject explicitly every form of religious war and oppose to every form of aggression, violence and terrorism.

We enfold and accept our pluralist and multicultural society and, confirming the “freedom of conscience”, we require from all our members an absolute respect of others ‘opinions.

We oppose to every form of injustice, submission and discrimination. We do not support any action which could disrupt peace and order in the society, and we submit ourselves to the laws of the country and / or region where we are active.
